Today I had chance to play with some new techniques I have been learning with Christy Tomlinson on her She Art class. The first part is learning how to complete the backgrounds to put the "girls" on. I completed three backgrounds using tissue paper, patterned paper, book paper and ephemera. Then used spray inks, paints, stencils and stamps to add texture.
This page is using the texture paste through a Crafters Workshop template with a paper and spray ink background.
Using paints, templates and rubber stamps over tissue paper.
As I had some left over paste I used it through this seaside stencil which my lovely friend Alexa gave me for my birthday to make this seaside journal page.
Spot the cat !!
Hi Sue - your blog is looking great. I love your backgrounds. I've signed up for the She Art class too, but haven't had a chance to watch the videos yet. Looking at these pages makes me want to go and play!
